Our commitment
This site is built to target WCAG 2.2 level AA. That target has not yet been verified by an independent audit, so this page describes the design intent and the specific measures taken rather than claiming conformance.
What is built in
- Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator throughout.
- A skip link at the top of every page jumps past the header to the main content.
- Text colour against its background meets the AA contrast minimum, including link text and button labels.
- Headings are used in order, so a screen reader can navigate the page structure.
- Decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology rather than announced.
- Form fields have visible labels, and error messages are announced when they appear.
- The layout reflows to a single column without loss of content and works at 400 per cent zoom.
- Motion is limited to small transitions, and these are disabled when reduced motion is requested.
Known gaps
To complete before launch. This section should list real known issues found by testing. Placeholders are worse than an empty list, so this is the honest starting state: no independent audit has been carried out, and no assistive technology testing has been recorded.
- No independent accessibility audit has been completed.
- The register table is wide and scrolls horizontally on small screens.
- PDF versions of the Standards, once published, will need their own accessibility check.
Report a barrier
If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, tell us at hello@cpdaccredited.co.uk. Describe what you were trying to do, the page you were on, and the assistive technology or browser you were using if that is relevant.
We aim to reply within five working days.
Alternative formats
We can supply the Standards, guidance and correspondence in large print or plain text on request. If you need a different format, ask and we will discuss what is possible.
